While Falling Girl is viewers try to interacts with the pre-recorded video, Boundary Functions is more towards the interactivity between one person to another.

The concept of outlining the personal spaces between people tends to reveal the sense of awareness and acceptance amongst the users. Some carefully guarded their space, moving slowly to avoid colliding with someone else spaces eventhough the boundary between spaces getting smaller and smaller. Some are more accepting, moving towards another person thus merging their spaces and create a much wider space for both of them to occupy.

The message i get from this installation is that acceptance and tolerance is the key for a more comfortable and harmonious social life. To have our own personal space is wonderful but in a growing society we are living now, it is better to share a common ground and develop an understanding and respect to one another.
